Burt Grant is the owner of the Salon. He prides himself for being in business
in this location for the past 26 years. Burt is always energetic and eager
to update himself on the newest and latest trends in the industry. Burt
has an essence about him that allows him to communicate with his clients
about their needs, and to deliver the desired look.
JENNY WILLS
Jenny's training takes her on a long journey into all the areas of hair design.
Working with industry favorites like Vidal Sassoon, Sebastion, Peter Hantz,
AVEDA, and Farouk, Jenny's expertise certainly lends itself to just about anything in the
realm of hair! She is considered an "Upstyle Speicalist" by her peers, focusing on
weddings and special events. Jenny relocated to Arlington from Chicago in 2002 and
the team at Burt Grant is lucky to have her on board.
PAUL ANDERSON
Paul joins us with having 25 years experience in the salon industry. In that
time span, Paul's impressive resume and training spans all over the world,
where he and his teammates scored first place in the world renowned Coupe De
Monde Hair Styling Competition in Paris, France. Paul's technical skill also
garnered him a mentoring position at Visible Changes Salon where he trained young
stylists in all areas of hair color and perming. Currently, Paul serves as the
"In-Salon" Color Coach for Aveda and Logics Hair color at the Burt Grant
Salonspa.
PAMELA BLACK
Pamela Black is our senior Advanced Master Designer. Having worked with Burt Grant Salonspa for the past 25 years, Pamela has achieved a name for herself in the AVEDA network as an AVEDA Color Educator. She is also an In-Salon color and cutting coach for BGS. Her list of credentials are too many to mention, but one thing is for sure, Pamela consistently acquires the latest in industry education, studying under the best in the business. Lending her expertise to theatre, proms, weddings, and fashion shows, Pamela strives to inspire and change the way her guests feel about their hair. Whether it's a graduated cut, or a new color, Pamela will approach it with precision, creating a flawless outcome.
Emily is a Master Designer with a prominent clientel. Emily has been a part of the BGS team since 2002. She has focused her energies on highlighting, coloring, cutting and styling for the past five years. Emily is committed to continual education and understanding her guests needs. Her dedication to excellence makes her one of 'BGS's' best technical designers.
Nancy has been in the Hair design industry since 1982.
Having apprenticed, studied and consulted with top colorist in the metro-plex,
she is now specializing in all color service, including corrective color. Her
personality and coloring style lends itself toward the natural, but, as she
says, "Anything is possible".
LEANNE VOLKERT
Leanne comes to us from the American Airlines Aveda Concept Salon. From her
gregarious personality to her expert cutting and coloring techniques, Leanne
provides exceptional service. Leanne's goal is to educated her guests so they
can duplicate the same hair style they received in the salon. Leanne's special
training at the Aveda Institutes in Minnesota and New York make her a specialist
in color, perms, and up-styles.
SHERRY FAGAN
Sherry has been coloring and cutting hair for 14 years and she still loves to come to work everyday! Her award winning up-styles make her a perfect designer when it comes to any special occasion. Sherry stays up-to-date with all fashion trends by attending hair shows all over the United States! She loves to add the special touch of makeup for her guests and has attended several makeup classes. Sherry prides herself on being able to listen and deliver just what her guests want.
Holly joins our team with 11 years experience in the salon industry. She has received awards for her hair color work and she has done some stage work for Wella. Holly really works well with any type. She prides herself on being able to communicate and understanding what her guest wants and needs. Most importantly, Holly has fun and loves what she does!
NANCY ARMSTRONG
Nancy has been working with hair for 28 years and in that time she has received numerous awards for her expertise in hair cutting. Nancy is forever attending educational hair shows to maintain knowledge of the most current hair cutting and coloring trends. She has served as an AVEDA Purefessional for 2 years educating others in the cutting arena. Nancy has a knack for cutting, up-styling and creating looks for that work for everyday people.
Morad has been working in this industry since 1986. He spent time studying at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in California. A designer that is not afraid of anything, he welcomes all hair types, styles and colors. He loves to work with permanent waves and styling hair.
Morad prides himself on his customer services as well. He is very respectful, professional and patient.
Raquel relocated to Burt Grant from New Mexico where she was a haircolor specialist in an AVEDA Concept Salon. Raquel specializes in haircolor for all varieties of hair. She is experienced with ethnic hair and works with both relaxed and natural hair. Raquel also performs various extension techniques. She has remarkable technical skills and she's dedicated to pleasing her guests.
A member of the BGS team since 2006, Summer has excelled in all areas of the salon industry. She is certified in Aveda Color 1, 2 and 3, pureform cutting, and Aveda Face to Face. Summer specializes in total makeovers including color, hair styling and make-up. Her goal is always to go beyond her clients' expectations!
Ashley has been a member of our BGS team since 2006. She is certified in all Aveda required education and has proven ehrself to be a real asset to our team. Her client base has developed rapidly due to excellent client satisfaction.
Amanda has been with the BGS team since 2004. Striving to remain up to date on the latest styles and trends, Amanda has attended numerous educational events. Certified in Aveda Color 1, 2 and 3, pure form cutting techniques and Aveda face to face, she brings her expertise to all facets of beauty. Amanda prides herself on her professionalism and strives to ensure that her clients have a "WOW" experience!
Our BGS Salon has welcomed our newest member, Jennifer, who has been in the salon industry since 2001. Jennifer specializes in highlighting and color makeovers. She prides herself on being updated on all the latest trends. She brings to our team her expertise and desire for excellent client relations!
Started at Toni & Guy for more advanced education. Traveled with Toni & Guy educating & working hair shows. Educational Director. Active Art Team Member. Designed new collections. Avante Grade/Editorial photo shoots. Taught Advanced education at Toni & Guy Academy. In-salon cutting coach. Strong belief in education. Taken all Aveda cutting and color collection classes. Graduated from TWU in 2004 with Bachelors degree in art. Strives to become Aveda Cutting Purefessional.
Tiffany has been with the Burt Grant Salonspa for a year. She is a wonderful addition to our group! She has been through extensive training including color I and II, Cutting Classes and Product Knowledge. Her attention to detail and excellent customer service will exceed your expectations!
