Burt Grant - Owner

     For over 50 years Burt has been a “stylist to the stars."  He feels that each client is as unique and gorgeous as the stars that walk the red carpet and takes pride in making them feel and look just as beautiful. Burt started his career in Ridglea, and following his move to Arlington in 1976, opened the salon's present location.  For over thirty years Burt has led his team in surpassing the industry standard in beauty, health, and wellness, both inside and out, honored to call many of his clients dear friends.

Pamela Black - Master Designer

   Pamela is a Native of Texas and has been in the hair industry since 1976, working alongside Burt since 1978. With almost forty years of experience, she prides herself in both classic and contemporary color and cutting techniques that lend to a versatile style suitable to each client.  Pam has worked as an Aveda color educator for over 10 years and has had the opportunity to utilize her talents in both fashion and bridal shows.  In addition, she has worked as the lead hair and make-up team for MTV commercials and Panache Magazine.

Verlene Peznell - Natural Nail Specialist

     Verlene began her career at the Burt Grant Salon & Spa as a daymaker 15 years ago. She enjoyed helping guests with their service scheduling for five years then decided to become a service provider. She obtained her nail technician license and has been providing nail care and reflexology ever since. Verlene has a passion for healthy, natural nails and customizes each service in order to achieve her client's maximum nail potential. She enjoys meeting new people, working for a salon she loves and providing the best experience possible in nail care services.

Jenny Wills - Advanced Master Designer

  Jenny specializes in precision cutting and color services and has over 20 years experience.  With her artistic vision and impeccable attention to detail, she enjoys working with clients to create styles that are individualized to match their needs.  Jenny is a master of her craft and keeps up with the latest techniques and hair trends as they appear on the fashion scene.  She is constantly working on innovative techniques to push the boundaries of  industry standards.  She is trained in and has expanded upon the cutting techniques of Vidal Sassoon and continues to improve her skills through international training with elite educators through the Aveda Institute.  Jenny’s stylistic work has been published in Panache Magazine and the Fort Worth Star Telegram.  She regularly styles hair for fashion and bridal shows throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area and enjoys creating elegant styles for weddings and other special events.  Whether a contemporary classic cut or a funky avant-garde style, the client is sure to be pleased with the experience they have with Jenny,

Emily Reiser - Advanced Master Designer

  Emily knew from a young age that she wanted to be a hairstylist.  She has been in the hair industry for 11 years  and truly enjoys her time with her clients.  She customizes trends to fit their individual style and makes them feel great about themselves.  Emily is trained in Aveda’s technical texture and pureform programs and specializes in hair cutting, coloring, and highlights.

Morad Koushan - Advanced Master Designer

   Morad received his barber’s license in 1985 and brings more than 25 years worth of experience to the salon. In addition to attaining his primary education at the Vidal Sassoon Academy, he has also received extensive training at the Aveda Institute throughout the duration of his career. Morad specializes in a wide variety of services for an equally wide variety of textures, most prominently in curly hair, as well as men’s cuts and beard trimming.

Jules Mashburn - Master Designer

  Julia obtained her cosmetology license in 1999. Before joining the Burt Grant Salon in 2006, she held various positions with Toni & Guy, including 'Creative Avant-garde Team Member 'Platform Artist' and educational director over the DFW area. She was also an instructor at the Toni & Guy Academy. In 2004, Julia obtained her B.A. in Art from Texas Woman’s University and quickly began her work as a Burt Grant Salon team member. She is currently an in-house Aveda certified educator and specializes in a variety of extension services, corrective color, chromatic shades of red, and the Brazilian Blowout.

Tressia Bond - Professional Makeup Artist

  Tressia has had a relationship with ABC, NBC, CNN and SMU for over 25 years and is the official makeup artist of Miss Texas and Miss Teen Texas. She has worked on a number of movie and television sets, and her celebrity familiarity ranges anywhere from Jane Fonda to Hannah Montana.  With her vast experience in the industry, Tressia is qualified and talented in all areas of make-up artistry and can create any desired appearance the client may want, including prom, wedding, photo-shoot, or casual looks.

Tiffany Morogiello (Moore) - Designer

  Tiffany has a true passion for accentuating each of her clients’ unique and natural beauty.  She is consistently eager to listen to her clients’ wants and/or concerns in order to execute their desired look.  She also enjoys continued education with Aveda  to keep her skills current with trending styles.  Tiffany is thrilled to be one of the many talented stylists at the Burt Grant SalonSpa.  She specializes in cutting, coloring, and highlighting services and has over five years experience.

Jessie O’Briant - SalonSpa Manager / Aveda Mentor / Daymaker

  Jessie has been with the Burt Grant Salon team since 2010.  She immediately showed great interest in the Aveda Mission, as she had been positively influenced from a young age on the proactive impact that the human race can have on the planet’s appreciated resources.  Her experience has afforded her the opportunity to aid in the creation of an atmosphere where service meets style.  Jessie is an integral part of the salon and is very knowledgeable in all of the service providers’ specialties.  She complements the client’s needs with the stylist who’s service best suits their style, and recommends the best products that match their needs.  In addition to her managerial obligations, Jessie has proficient knowledge of Aveda services, products, and incentive programs.

Tonya Cabal - Advanced Licensed Massage Therapist / Wellness Consultant

   Tonya has over 17 years experience in the spa setting and has had extensive training in the medical massage profession. She understands the health and relaxation benefits of massage and has a passion for providing this valuable service to her clients.  Her education and training have afforded her the ability to personalize any massage service the client may wish or need, and she is currently offering the M’lis body wrap, a cleansing full-body detoxification service which also helps the body to shed weight, lose inches and minimize cellulite.

Sara Jurdi - Stylist

  Sara obtained her cosmetology license in 2008 and has gained valuable experience in the hair industry both in and out of the salon. Never idle, Sara actively seeks out education and training from certified and experienced in-house educators to add to her growing repertoire of knowledge. In addition to coloring and cutting, her interests include extension services for 'POPS' of color (Socap), men‘s cuts, lash tinting, and facial waxing!

Dusti MacDonald (Samples) - Stylist

  Dusti has been in the hair and beauty industry for more than six years and has been with the Burt Grant Salon Spa team for over a year. After serving four years in the United States Navy, she obtained her cosmetology license and has since worked both in the salon and as a freelance stylist/make-up artist, gaining insight and experience in the industry standards. Concurrently she continued her education by obtaining a B.A. in Philosophy and M.A. in Linguistics from The University of Texas at Arlington. She specializes in a variety of services, including but not limited to, color and cutting design, hair-extension application and removal, and high-fashion avante-garde hair and make-up.

Samantha Jones - Daymaker

Samantha has worked in the salon industry for over 10 years, both as a receptionist and in various managerial positions.  While continuing her career in exceptional customer service, she attended The University of North Texas and graduated with her B.A. in Cultural Anthropology in 2008.  Having a genuine interest in people and the synergistic effect between human culture and the environment, Samantha is interested in living a healthy, eco-friendly lifestyle in an urban environment, and educating others on the benefits of similar lifestyles.  Her affinity for natural products and a healthy way of living enhances her ability to help clients in their product knowledge and beauty servicing needs.

Andie Barnes - New Talent

  A native of Arlington, Texas, Andie is the daughter of a hairstylist, and as such has grown up in and around the hair and beauty industry, always knowing that she wanted to become a stylist herself.   She is excited and highly motivated to begin her career as a hair stylist and build her clientele, as she enjoys meeting and getting to know new people.  In addition to having a passion for styling hair for special occasions, Andie also enjoys make-up applications, hair cutting and coloring.

Lauren Rector - New Talent

A down-to-earth native of Texas, Lauren is a new-talent stylist currently in the process of completing the Burt Grant Apprenticeship Program. She is extremely enthusiastic and motivated about hair and beauty, as she has always wanted to work in the hair industry. Her light-hearted and humorous personality is contagious, as she genuinely enjoys making the people around her smile. In addition to cutting and coloring, she specifically enjoys creating beautiful natural highlights and designing creative up-do’s and special styles.

Cyndi Womack - Esthetician

With over 13 years of experience, Cyndi is a skin care specialist whose primary focus falls not only on the health and vitality of the client’s skin, but on the client’s general sense of well being.  Exclusively trained in all-natural and organic products, she focuses on methods of relaxation during her services to improve and enhance the client’s wellness.  Her thorough knowledge of Aveda products allows her to customize any service and at-home skin-care system for her client, allowing the clients skin to reach its optimal potential.  In addition to skin-care, Cyndi is well trained in various forms of full body waxing services, including the Brazilian wax, and is dedicated to providing her client with a comforting experience.
